Yukari's Recipe Book 1

今日はいっちゃんのレシピ本「エリオットゆかりのシンプルなごちそう」の出版日。そこでいっちゃんのお宅で出版祝パーティーが行われました。
Today my friend Yukari's recipe book has been released in Japan. She had a party at her place with her friends.
久々のパーティーなので、私は何日も前からウキウキ♪前夜には顔パックやネイルまでしちゃった(笑)
I was invited as well and I was very excited to go there.
マイクは風邪だったので、遅れて参加。私は美由紀と二人で電車で行きました。いっちゃん家の最寄の駅に着き、電車を降りるとロンドンから参加の方が１０人弱。皆で一緒に歩いていきました。
Mike had a cold so he came by car later. Miyuki and I went there by train first. When we got off the train, we saw other ten Japanese people!
さて、到着。とっても美味しそうな料理がズラリ！！

このちらし寿司は洋風（スモークサーモン、ディル、アボカドが入っていた）でビックリしたけど、とってもおいしかったです。
In this sushi, there were smoked salmon, dill and avocado. I've never had this kind but it was very good.
美由紀も骨付きから揚げをムシャムシャ。一人で全部食べちゃった。。。私も食べたかったぁ～。
Miyuki was eating a deep fried drumstick. She finished one!
何より驚いたのは参加者の数。ざっと４０～５０人！！！その中で男性は数人。残りは皆日本人女性(笑) 普段自分の住む町では見かけないので、こんなに日本人いたんだ～と感心せずにはいられませんでした(笑)
電車できた人は車掌さんが「（いっちゃんの家がある町で）何かあるの？！」って驚いていたそう。納得です(笑)
There were about 40-50 people there. I was surprised there were only a few men and rest of them were all Japanese women!!!
Some people said a conductor asked them what was happening in where they were going. LOL
美由紀は外で遊んでいるスターくんとお友達のスマーティーちゃんに釘付け。
Miyuki was watching Star and Smartie playing outside.
